- Students are expected to take course assessments at the designated time.
- In the event of illness or personal emergency on the day of an assessment:
- The student must contact either the Director of Didactic Education (copying the course/section director) or the Director of Clinical Education via email to inform them that they cannot take the assessment. Students are also required to complete the appropriate attendance communication documentation.
- A student who has missed an assessment because of illness or personal emergency will be scheduled to take the assessment upon return to class.
- Unexcused attendance violations or leaves of absence will be addressed per the SPAS Attendance Policy.
- Students must follow the following guidelines during assessments:
- Students are not permitted to communicate, including text messaging, once entering any testing facility.
- Students must turn off cell phones and place all personal belongings in the storage bins within the computer testing center.
- Smartwatches and similar devices are not permitted. Students must put cell phones away unless required by the proctor to facilitate assessment.
- Students should remain in their seats until they have finished the assessment. Students may be excused during the assessment one at a time to use the restroom.
- The Course Director will determine the duration of each exam.
- Testing areas are subject to video monitoring.
- Upon completing and submitting your exam, please leave the testing area.
- Students are not permitted to disseminate assessment content after completion of the assessment
- Do not take a screenshot of any exam or quiz
- Students may use ear plugs/noise canceling agents if they are not connected to any source.
- Students who have accommodations will test at the Disability Resource Center.
- Any questions or discrepancies regarding an assessment should be addressed via email to the Course or Section Director within 48 hours of assessment completion, citing the discrepancy.
- Exam grades will not be posted before 24 hours after the exam to allow faculty review. Quiz grades may be released earlier.
